The Rustic Mechanicals Apprentice Company proudly invites you to experience the culmination of their 2026 Summer Shakespeare Intensive: William Shakespeare’s THE WINTER'S TALE.
Prepare to be transported from the cold, jealous courts of Sicilia to the vibrant, sun-drenched shores of Bohemia. One of the Bard’s final "romances," THE WINTER'S TALE is a breathtaking journey that defies genre—blending heart-wrenching drama and high stakes with whimsical comedy and the promise of a miracle.
This isn't just another night at the theater; it is a showcase of the brightest young talent in West Virginia.
After weeks of rigorous training in voice, movement, and classical text, the Rustic Mechanicals Apprentice Company—composed of some of the state’s most elite high school performers—is ready to take the stage. You will witness the raw energy, passion, and professional-grade skill of actors who are destined for the world's biggest stages.
